Panevėžio statybos trestas SC has received the certificate of the quality management system which conforms to ISO 9001 standard.
PST has undertaken to continuously improve its operations, seek effective quality management and the highest client appraisal. On the basis of these commitments, PST has set the following goals:
- to introduce and implement the most advanced technologies;
- to make possible and encourage employee initiative in improving qualification and increasing knowledge;
- to create the conditions for “from-idea-to-final-product” operations which meet the expectations of clients;
- to continuously allocate resources for the improvement of the quality management system.
PST also has the Quality Certificate of the Ministry of Environment which entitles the company:
- to carry out general and special construction works;
- to design buildings ;
- to perform technical maintenance of especially important buildings and immovable cultural assets.
PST’s environmental protection policy is based on the commitment to create, introduce and improve its environmental protection management system according to ISO 14001 environmental protection management standard, which, in organising the activities of the company, would enable
- the reduction of negative environmental impact,
- and creation of conditions for the prevention of pollution.
Documents are currently being prepared which will ensure the functioning of the environmental protection management system. PST’s environmental management system according to ISO 14001 standards will be certified in mid-2004.
The company has obtained licenses to work in Russia, Ukraine and Latvia.
