About project

Reconstruction of the building was started in September 2004 and completed in May 2008. This building is a unique item of immovable cultural property. After long-lasting reconstruction works mouldings, furnaces, floor coverings were recreated, the building was equipped with state-of-the-art ventilation, communication and fire extinguishing systems. The commercial space on the first floor - representative specialty stores - has separate entrances from the street as well as from the courtyard - the atrium. The atrium is equipped with two panoramic elevators connecting office and apartment floors with the parking lot located in the basement. Cars enter the underground parking lot from the Islandijos Street. The area for the basement was excavated under the courtyard and the parking lot itself has the car parking system manufactured by the German company Wöhr installed. The second and third floors of the building with the restored representative interior, which survived in the street blocks, are used for offices. The attic floors accommodate residential apartments, which cover two levels in the street blocks: a kitchen with a dining area and living-rooms on the first, and bedrooms on the second. The total area of the building is ​​7625 square meters.
